The young gun who is just 20, has inked a deal with Bob Arum’s Top Rank Promotions. Now, he will make his first professional boxing appearance on August 14.

Top Rank shared the news on their official Instagram handle after Ali Walsh signed with them. Sharing a string of pictures, they wrote, “A couple days after making things official, @nicoaliwalsh spent Fight Night with some of the TR family this weekend.”

Later, in the comments section, the promotion revealed, “Nico Ali Walsh makes his pro debut August 14 on ESPN … more details soon.”

After getting Nico Ali Walsh under his wing, Arum chatted with BBC, wherein he said, “Nico’s grandfather was a pretty good fighter.”
