‘Bring Your A** in the Ring’: Anthony Taylor Goes on a $1.5 Million Tommy Fury Call-Out Rant Following Exhibition at Floyd Mayweather vs. Deji

Former Love Island star turned professional boxer Tommy Fury was set to face Paul Bamba on Sunday in the co-main event of the Floyd Mayweather vs. Deji boxing card at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. However, things went awry when Fury weighed in at 181.4 pounds, over six pounds beyond the light heavyweight limit of 175 pounds.

This resulted in Bamba rejecting the offer and Rolly Lambert, being announced as his replacement for the fight. However, Anthony Taylor, another fighter who faced off Love Island winner Jack Fincham. Despite the bout being an exhibition Taylor dominated the proceedings and was also quick to call out Fury after the fight.

He stated that Fury declined his offer to just three hours before the bout. He then went on to also call out his uncle John Fury demanding a match.

“Tommy Fury declined my fight offer three hours before the fight. $1.5 million, he declined it, he’s a p***y. John Fury, if you’re out there, bring your a*** over here. Tommy get your a*** in the gym. I ain’t leaving this ring until I fight Tommy Fury, you’re gonna need security to get me out of this ring.” he said

The two have already met in the ring once before with Fury getting the better of Taylor. However, with Taylor now being a far improved fighter he thinks he is ready to face his former foe once again.

KSI disses Tommy Fury following missed weight debacle

YouTube sensation turned boxer KSI recently called out Fury following his missed weight. The YouTuber dissed him calling him a ‘joke’ on social media “Tommy Fury is an absolute joke“. KSI tweeted. The two gave been linked for a fight since The Nightmare fought two boxers in one night back in August.

Fury has cited that he was never informed that the weight limit was 175 pounds as he released a statement giving his side of the story. “One contract was given to Paul Bamba and one contract was given to myself. The weight in my contract I made yesterday, so as far as I’m concerned I’ve done my job, I made weight.” he wrote. With KSI now looking for an opponent for his Misfits boxing event, Fury could very be a challenger for the British YouTuber.
