Former four-division world champion, Adrien Broner, was on the pedestal in his quest for position among the demigods of boxing. His spectacular ring IQ and the raw power that he exuded become proponents of his sensational performances inside the ring. However, his world came crashing down after Broner was plagued by a host of personal issues and mental health struggles. This, in turn, started affecting his performance. And forced him to take a break from the sport that made him a household name. Meanwhile, Broner recently released a video where he opened up about coming back up from his struggles.

In a video, which was later shared by a Twitter user, Broner opened up about his road to sobriety, He said, “See the thing is, a lot of people want to stop drinking. A lot of people want to stop all their vices. It’s just you, it’s just you fighting you. Looking at the mirror, telling yourself you ain’t doing it no more. I’ve been sober for the last five months man. I feel good.”
Broner was set to fight Michael Williams Jr. for his comeback fight on February 25, 2023. But the fight failed to materialize after Williams Jr. suffered a jaw injury.
It should also be mentioned that he was previously scheduled to face Ivan Redkach and Hank Lundy. But, they had to back out of the fight due to multiple issues.
Adrien Broner receives massive support from fans
Broner’s video was a heartening wave of change for his fans. And, they made it a point to stand in solidarity with the champ. In fact, a lot of them took to social media to share their thoughts about the same.
