Caleb Plant is ready to storm inside the ring on Saturday night. The Nashville native will defend his title against Caleb Truax in a 12-round battle. Although ‘Sweethands’ does not share a significant rivalry with any of the boxers, he has a beef with ‘Golden’ Truax.
In a chat alongside Premier Boxing Champions, Plant detailed what actually happened in 2016. He said, “During my 11th fight he (Truax) was on Twitter, tweeting hoping that I’d get knocked out and you know there’s only room enough for boxing for one Caleb and just a bunch of nonsense. And since 2016 I have kept that in mind, I haven’t forgotten.”
“Come January 30th, I am just excited to see if you really meant what you said, because I’m gonna give you a chance to prove that.”

Can Caleb Plant respond to Caleb Truax with a win?
Caleb Plant is in his prime and has secured an astonishing 20-0 record. Moving into the Saturday night bout, he’ll have his focus on adding that 21st win to his name. But, more than that, he’ll be focused on responding to Truax’s comments.

‘Sweethands’ is an intimidating boxer who has defended his title twice. He has his eyes set on the pot of gold for Saturday, and won’t budge an inch from the same.

Plant has the audacity to create magic inside the ring, and if he does the same this weekend, he will undeniably set himself up for a massive title unification fight after this. However, he must ensure that he does not lose sight of the goal despite undoubtedly trying to teach Truax a lesson.
What do you make of Plant’s remarks?
