Plant has enjoyed an undefeated career in the sport until now. But his upcoming opponent, Canelo, has crucified many undefeated opponents in the past. In his last fight too, the Mexican fighter hammered the British boxing stalwart, Billy Joe Saunders.

This was Alvarez’s biggest win in the super-middleweight division, and with that, he showed why he can be an absolute demolisher. Citing that, Plant is in for a stern challenge if he wishes to remain undefeated.

Although undefeated, Plant will still walk in as an underdog for his fight against Canelo. This is because the latter’s track record is out of the box. That said, while Alvarez will storm into the ring with a composed mindset, Plant will be under extreme pressure for this encounter.
