The March 25 fight which is set to feature two former super middleweight champions, David Benavidez and Caleb Plant has no lack of bad blood, which has started coming forth as their fight date encroaches. On Thursday, 2nd February 2023, the duo had an intense face-off following an exciting back-and-forth during a session of trash talk during the press conference. The attacks they made were very personal, as the duo has an interesting past. Surprisingly, both used to train in the same gym, but never came close enough to being friends.
