Logan Paul needs no introduction in today’s high-voltage boxing world. In just a brief span of time, he’s chalked his roadway to the top and is going super-strong with his boxing run. Despite having no wins on his professional boxing resume, Paul always stays in the news as fans draw significant comparisons between him and combat sports hotshots like Floyd Mayweather, Conor McGregor, and more.

But one matchup that tops the fan charts is the Logan Paul vs Conor McGregor contest. Is the YouTuber really capable of beating someone as elite as ‘The Notorious’?

Paul, a successful star in the entertainment vertical, transitioned his focus to professional boxing in 2019. In his very first pro-bout, ‘The Maverick’ locked horns with fellow Youtuber KSI. To everyone’s surprise, the 26-year-old exceeded expectations but ended up losing a split decision.

However, Logan Paul impressed everyone with his performance, grabbing substantial eyeballs towards his fight. Despite that, his skill sets to fight Conor McGregor are still not on the top level.

This is predominantly because McGregor is a veteran MMA fighter. Furthermore, the Irishman has even boxed Floyd Mayweather in a professional boxing match. That said, the latter’s skillsets will unquestionably prove to be a problem for the lanky Logan Paul, who still has a long pathway to trace in the game.

Logan Paul vs Conor McGregor – will it ever happen?

‘The Maverick’ wants his name to be remembered in the boxing world. And for that, he needs to battle out the biggest stars in the fight world. That said, he’d never mind a fight with the former UFC double champ. Such a fight would see him remain relevant and see him rake in the moolah.

For now, McGregor is eager to reclaim the lightweight strap in the UFC, and prior to that, he won’t look to contend against anyone else.
