Alvarez spoke about how Garcia is wasting time and how it is a bad signal. Later, these comments did rounds on social media, and many felt there was a rift between the two.

However, ‘King Ry’ idolizes Canelo, and the p4p star also knows what type of talent Garcia has.

Recently, Alvarez chatted with Fight Hub TV over this juncture. Here, a translator interpreted his quotes.

If he had remained active after the Campbell fight, Garcia could have been boxing for the world title in his next bout.
