It’s year-ending and the boxing family is on hold right now. The last days of 2021 won’t see any major event go up to the display and almost every A-listed champion is relishing their time at home. 2021 was a spectacular year for the sport, with several underdogs rising to the top. However, a few stars also kept their dominance in their predictable fashion. That said, 2022 shall see an even stacked calendar for the sport.

As of now, the boxers are spending Christmas week pretty uniquely. A few of them are locked in fight camps. But most of them are fortunate to be with family. Social media is already flooding with wishes from the combat world and we could spot how the boxers are spending the time.

Undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez recently posted pictures with his family. His partner also posted a few, which showed the P4P king in a themed aquatic park. Alvarez took to Twitter and wished everyone a happy Christmas as well.

It was a spectacular year for him with 3 successful title wins and he is now enjoying a much-needed layoff. ‘WAR’ Chisora wished his believers the same on social media. Despite losing his latest outing against Parker, Chisora earned fans’ respect for sticking around the sport. He has faced almost every A-lister of the division and has never ducked a challenge.

Meanwhile, Jake Paul is following his KO-win over Tyron Woodley with a quality time with partner Julia Rose. The couple became romantic on Twitter as they showed love to each other during Christmas week. Here’s a look at their post and other boxers wishing us a merry Christmas.

 

So on the whole, all these stars are having a quality time with their families amidst the Christmas gusto.
