Mexican boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez recently defeated Gennady Golovkin in their third encounter. The Mexican fighter had not lost since suffering a setback against Floyd Mayweather in 2013. However, before facing Golovkin, Dmitry Bivol of Russia upset Alvarez to halt his winning streak. It was certain that there needs to be a rematch. In light of this, Bivol recently stated, “Why not at 168lbs? If it’s 168lbs it’s no excuses anymore. He had some excuses, yeah. He said it’s not his weight class, then he said he didn’t get a good camp, then he said it was a problem with the arm. 168lbs, no excuses.”
