Canelo Alvarez, now, is hell-bent on garnering more accolades in the light heavyweight division. In the course, he is all set to face the WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol on May 7, 2022. Before squaring off with the Russian stalwart in the ring, the Mexican boxing superstar sent a 2-word message to Bivol.
The 31-year-old took to his Instagram and shared a picture. Laced with gloves, he appears bold and determined. He wrote, “Dejándolo todo.” It means “leaving everything.”, as per Google Translate.

Notably, Dmitry Bivol is most likely to give the toughest fight to Canelo Alvarez. The undefeated Russian pugilist has a phenomenal undefeated record of 19-0. Many claim that like Alvarez, Bivol is also in the prime of his career. So the advantage of height and stature will play a vital role in favor of the Bivol, who stands 183cm tall.
Prior to this fight, Canelo Alvarez’s biggest challenge was the fight against the undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather in 2013.

Since then, Canelo Alvarez has transformed himself into a boxer that is unbeatable. However, Bivol has the potential to break the winning streak of Mexican, therefore, he is considered the ‘toughest’ opponent of the Mexican superstar.
