Undisputed super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez suffered the first loss of his career at the hands of Floyd Mayweather back in 2013. However, many believe that the Mexican boxer would have beat ‘TBE’ if the two fought in their primes. Following his loss to Mayweather, Alvarez would go on to dominate the world of boxing, winning titles across multiple weight divisions.

This is why many, including Alvarez, have wondered how a rematch between the two would have turned out. ‘Saul’ has stated on multiple occasions that he wanted to face ‘Money’ in a rematch that never came to fruition. However, it looks like Alvarez might just have the last laugh over his former rival.

Canelo Alvarez reveals his favorite car

In a video with GQ, the middleweight champ answered the most asked questions by his fans. He was then asked about his car collection and went on to disclose the number of cars he owned. He also went on to reveal his favorite car from this collection. “The truth is, I don’t know but let’s say a number around 20 but I think my favorite is the Ferrari,” he said.

This statement certainly would have hurt Mayweather as he is banned from owning a Ferrari, even though he has an estimated net worth of $450 million. According to the ownership rule of Ferrari, the owner of the car must retain it for a year since its purchase.

Contrary to this, Mayweather sold his Ferrari just a few months after purchasing it. This would lead to him getting banned from ever purchasing the iconic ‘Prancing Horse’.

Canelo Alvarez’s insane car collection

It’s no surprise that Alvarez spends a chuck of his $180 million net worth on luxury cars. The four-division champ reportedly owns a Mustang 500 Eleanor, Shelby Mustang, Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Urus, and limited edition Lamborghini Gallardo, among other luxury cars.

Moreover, he has at least nine supercars in his collection, including a flagship blue Bugatti Chiron. Along with the supercars, he also owns a Rolls Royce Ghost and a Bentley. However, the most prized possession in his collection is his $2.8 million red LaFerrari. The car is one of the most valuable ones in the world and is sought after by many. It can reach 217mph and is described by Ferrari as its most extreme vehicle ever created by them.
