Canelo Alvarez has achieved several milestones in his career, amassing one of the best resumes in boxing history. The P4P king has achieved impeccable success inside the ring and is currently the three-belt unified super middleweight champion. Furthermore, the Mexican star holds a record in the Guinness Books of World Records. Canelo Alvarez shocked several of his fans by making the revelation recently. While Alvarez is getting ready to meet IBF champion Caleb Plant in a historic unification fight in November, the WBC-WBA-WBO champion recently talked about his Guinness Book Record.

In a chat with ABC News, he said, “We were in the Guinness Book of World Records. The seven of us had professional fights in one night.”

Canelo Alvarez isn’t the only boxer to have emerged from his family. Apart from him, six of his brothers turned professional. However, they couldn’t make it big like the P4P king. Rigoberto Alvarez, Canelo’s brother, retired almost ten years back with a record of 27-4. He was also the WBA Interim champion and will remain an A-lister all his life.

24-3-3 as a professional, Ricardo Alvarez was also becoming a big name in boxing, before retiring after his bout against John Michael Johnson in 2014. What’s more? Ramon Alvarez has also made it to the top-tier in the boxing circuit. He boasts a record of 29-8-3 over 10 years, with his latest win coming in June 2021 against Erik Mireles. Clearly, there has been a lot of pugilistic action coming from the Alvarez clan.
