Canelo Alvarez has revealed his next opponent after Caleb Plant. The current WBO, WBC and WBO super-middleweight champion will take on the IBF super-middleweight champion on November 6. In less than a month’s time, the two fighters will face each other in the ring at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

Canelo will look to make history and become the first undisputed super-middleweight champion of the world. In doing so, Canelo will make history for himself and Mexico. However, Caleb ‘Sweet hands’ Plant, who holds the IBF world title, thinks he has what it takes to beat the Mexican superstar.

“Charlo,” said Canelo when Brian Custer asked him who is more realistic for him to fight next, David Benavidez or Jermall Charlo. The super-middleweight champion was Brian Custer’s latest guest on his podcast, ‘The Last Stand’. Canelo also revealed on the podcast that he would like to make more historic fights.

“I just want to fight the fights that the people want and make history. That’s all that I want, so we’ll see after the fight. I like being active, and I love fighting a lot. I want to fight three times, four times a year. For me, it’s good.” said Canelo when Custer asked him if there was anyone particular he would like to fight.
