Watches that Canelo Álvarez owns
Alvarez currently has more than 20 watches in his collection. All exclusive and exotic. He has the Excalibur Double Flying Tourbillon Canelo Victory, priced at $327K per timepiece. There are only eight models of this exclusive watch in the entire world. It’s the straps made from the boxing glove leather that make it so special. Then, there’s the Richard Mille Tourbillon Evil Eye. Valued at $575K, this timepiece is studded with sapphires and diamonds on its case. He was also spotted wearing a $2.5M worth Richard Mille RM 52-01 Tourbillon Skull. With a 45mm case made of titanium, ceramic, and 18-carat rose gold, this timepiece is a true masterpiece.
Canelo Álvarez also has a Rolex Sjy-Dweller, a $40K watch made from 18-carat rose gold. But it’s the Yacht-Master II that often attracts the fanbase’s attention. With a blue ceramic bezel, 18-carat yellow gold body, and a 44mm Oyster case, it has all the properties to be an eyecatcher. Alvarez’s collection also has a chronograph. It’s the Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph in Rose Gold 5980/1R, which cost him around $300K back in August 2022.

And just a few days ago, the super middleweight champion indulged in a shopping spree and spent about $3.8M. During his visit to NYC, Canelo Alvarez decided to enter a Jacob & Co. Boutique. Therein, he picked up a Jacob & Co. Opera Godfather, priced at $550K. Without even flinching at the price, he moved and found another timepiece worth $900K. And finally, the famed boxer picked up a $1.4M Jacob & Co. Opera Godfather Rose Gold variant. All of this didn’t even put a dent in Alvarez’s $300M net worth. But it surely added a bit more lustre to his collection.

And how can we forget the Oil Pump Automaton Middle East Tourbillon in 18k Rose Gold? It’s a watch featuring a miniature oil rig in the case, priced at $ 380,000. A few others in Canelo Alvarez’s collection are the Rolex Daytona, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore, Richard Mille RM 67 and RM 11, Rolex Submariner, Rolex Day-Date, and a lot more.

Canelo Álvarez vs. Floyd Mayweather watch collection compared
When it comes to extravagant watch shopping, Floyd Mayweather certainly overshadows Alvarez. While Alvarez’s highlight watches cost around $15K to $2.5M, ‘Money’s collection has diamond-encrusted platinum and luxury watches that are easily above $2M. Mayweather’s entire watch collection can be valued at a bit over $100M. But it’s not just the price of the watches that separates Alvarez’s collection from that of Mayweather.

Alvarez usually likes to get avant-garde, limited edition, high-complication watches with some personal touches. However, Mayweather likes to showcase extreme opulence and bling. He tends to buy custom-made jewelry-like timepieces from some of the most exotic brands in the world. His collection includes a diamond-studded Jacob & Co. The Billionaire watch, which is worth $18M. He also owns Pristine Jewelers’ The Goliath, Hublot King Power WBC Full Pave with Emeralds, and a Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 5723/112R-001, Richard Mille RM 59-01 Tourbillon Rohan Blake, and many more.
For his battle against Terence Crawford, Canelo Alvarez is expected to pocket at least $50M as prize money. And after that, maybe we can get to see a few more additions to his watch collection. Until then, why don’t you drop by the comments section and talk about your favorite timepiece?
