The 31-year-old is on a seven-fight win streak and is looking to get his eighth. The fighters will compete at the 168 pound super middleweight limit. Canelo comes in at 5’8 inches tall with a reach of 70.5 inches.

Caleb ‘Sweethands’ Plant hails from Nashville, Tennessee. The 29-year-old American boasts an impressive unbeaten record with 21 wins and 0 losses. He holds the IBF super-middleweight title. Plant comes in at 6’1 inches tall and a reach of 74 inches. Clearly, he has height and reach advantage over his Mexican foe.

The taller lengthier opponents use their reach advantage to keep their opponent at an arms-length, engaging them comfortably and using the distance to avoid getting hit.

Plant, on the other hand, is not a knockout artist. He uses his exceptional boxing IQ and movement to slip and counter beautifully. The 3.5-inch reach advantage can work in favor of Plant if he uses it well and does not allow Canelo to close the distance.
