Stepping into this fight, there was a lot of bad blood between the two; there was a point before the fight when many fans were convinced that Plant would be the one to dethrone Alvarez. However, Canelo knocked out Plant in round 11 and many paid with their actual money by placing their entire faith in Caleb Plant.

However, there was also one celebrity in attendance who lost a million dollars solely because of the Canel0 vs Plant fight.

Extremely successful poker player and entrepreneur Dan Bilzerian recently told TMZ that he lost a watch worth $1 million at the event.

TMZ reported, “he was wearing a Richard Mille watch, valued between $950k and $1 million, to the Canelo fight, and at some point, he noticed it went missing from his wrist“.

Bilzerian suspects that the Richard Mille watch was slipped off his wrist by one of the many fans that he took pictures with at the event. The police are now involved and have filed a larceny report for the same.

After filing the report right after the Canelo vs Plant fight, Dan Bilzerian has also now announced a cash reward. He is willing to hand out $50,000 to anyone who can help with the investigation.
