We see celebrities and athletes from all walks of life relishing their time at a golf course. The classical power puncher Canelo Alvarez is also among them. Recently, The Mexican star Canelo Alvarez posted a picture on Instagram that got him into the limelight, albeit not for boxing.
Canelo appears in the golf apparel holding club in his hand. This is not the first time Canelo posted his picture from the golf course. The five-weight division world champion has a keen interest in playing golf. He took part in several golf tournaments in the past.

It is important because he is getting ready for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Tournament. After crowning undisputed super middleweight, he is one of the biggest stars in sports. Within a span of eleven months, he outclassed four super middleweight pugilists, Daniel Jacobs, Sergey Kovalev, Callum Smith, and Caleb Plant.

As of now, Canelo is busy playing golf. He said, “I’m golfing every day. My handicap is about nine or 10 right now. It’s hard. Sometimes when I don’t play well, I get mad. But I’m looking forward to playing a lot more when I retire. I really enjoy those tournaments.”
Notably, Canelo not only participated but also won the celebrity division of the PGA Tour Champions in Greer, South Carolina. This shows that golf is not just a hobby for him, but he has shown good hands at it.
Canelo Alvarez joins Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Tournament
It is a renowned Golf tournament scheduled every year at Pebble Beach, California. Top celebrities walk in from Hollywood, sports, music industry, and business to take shot in this tournament. Participants will begin their campaign for Seven million dollars from Monday, next week.

There will be 156 participants in the group of three. A professional golfer will assist each group. Based on the score calculated in each round, teams will be eliminated after the third round. Only 25 teams will qualify for the 4th round.
