It’s no secret that arranging big fights is no easy task! First, both fighters need to agree to the purse split and many more intricacies that the general public isn’t aware of. In a similar situation, Teofimo Lopez declined a fight deal against Ryan Garcia, something Boxing News+ revealed on X. So, responding to the tweet, a user commented about the claim from Lopez, which got him branded “Delusional” by Leonard Ellerbe.
After the tweet from Boxing News + started circulating on X, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions retweeted the post with laughing emojis. Likewise, an X user found the retweet from Leonard and left a scathing comment on it. However, the story did not end there! Leonard decided to come back to the comment from the user, claiming the user was delusional. So, the question is – what did the user write that prompted a response from the CEO of Mayweather Promotions?

With all that out of the way, one big question still lingers. Why did Teofimo Lopez decline a fight against Ryan Garcia, especially given the fact that a win against Garcia would launch Teofimo among boxing elites?
