Terence Crawford will square off against Errol Spence Jr. on July 29. However, Crawford is already looking past this crucial bout and he eyes on a fight against Jermell Charlo. While Crawford is the reigning WBO welterweight champion, Jermell is the undisputed light middleweight champion. Charlo has been vocal about his interest to fight Crawford for quite some time.

It is worth mentioning that it has already been anticipated that the winner of Crawford vs Spence Jr. will likely fight Charlo next. Recently, Crawford responded by expressing his interest to fight him as well. Additionally, he found it unusual when Charlo started to throw his name into the mix when Crawford expressed his desire to compete against Spence Jr. Though the fans do not consider it wise for Crawford to look past a challenge like Spence Jr., some do not even fancy him in this potential bout at light middleweight.

Crawford has shown his interest to compete against Charlo and appears to be confident in facing him despite the weight difference. @MichaelBensonn took to Twitter and reported what Crawford had to say about Charlo, He stated, “That dude a hoe. For some odd reason, once I started calling out Errol Spence, he jumped in it. Mind your business, stay on the sidelines… When I beat him, I’m coming to see you.”

The fans were quick to take a dig at the welterweight champion. One fan named Shaykh Sulaiman thinks that the size difference is a determining factor. He stated, “Charlo is way too big for Crawford”

On similar lines, one fan picked the light middleweight champion against both the welterweight champions. They wrote, “Jermell would iron out Crawford and or Spence.”

On the contrary, one fan is inclined to see Crawford’s mark in multiple divisions. He stated, “Yes please @terencecrawford. Charlo after you beat Spence. That I didn’t see coming. 3X undisputed champ. That would be bang on the money.” 

Another fan makes his prediction known, stating, “Crawford beats both Spence and Mell Charlo same night.”

Another fan claims that Crawford has not been true to his word. He states, “Then why did he pass on the deal PBC gave him to fight Spence and Charlo?? Crawfish just be talking. He literally could have moved up to face Charlo. Didn’t the boss say that’s what he was going to do??”
