Claressa Shields has become a household name in boxing. She is known for her feisty and explosive fighting style inside the ring. And her calm personality outside the ring. She is undoubtedly one of the best female boxers in the world, having held multiple world championship titles in three different weight classes. And, recently, the ‘GWOAT’ announced her next opponent for the upcoming fight. But, it seems as interesting and exciting as the news is for some fans. For some in the boxing world, the news was a source of fury and disappointment And, it seems like the fans are not hesitant to share their true opinions about the announcement.
Shields took to her social media to announce her next opponent, and the news sent the boxing world into a frenzy of disappointment and anger.
Michael Benson from TalkSport, took to Twitter to share the news of who the ‘Gwoat will be fighting next. ‘ And, as excited as the news sounds, it is safe to say that the fans are not pleased with the announcement, and this news comes as unexpected to the boxing world.

Claressa Shields will fight Hanna Gabriel in a title defense of her undisputed middleweight title. This will not be the first time between these two boxers. The duo first fought in 2018, which witnessed Shields prevailing via unanimous decision. This matchup is already experiencing backlash from fans due to numerous reasons. And, the fans are not pleased by this announcement.
Shields fought last year, winning her bout against Savannah Marshall via unanimous decision. And her fight against Gabriel will be her first title defense of the undisputed middleweight titles. On the other hand, the challenger, Gabriel, hasn’t lost a single fight since her loss to the Gwoat.’ And, she will be looking forward to stripping Shields of her undisputed titles.

A one sided win 5 years ago and Gabriel’s hasn’t fought for over two years. What’s the point? That’s the fight instead of Marshall 2 or Jonas or even harper? Atrocious. Will do the sales it deserves
