The Briton boxing stalwarts, Anthony Joshua and Chris Eubank Jr. remained in the headlines with their 2021 boxing outings. While on one side, Eubank Jr. had a decorated year with two noteworthy wins, Joshua ended up losing his hard-earned heavyweight straps. Since then, the big man is looking to regain his spot by beating his opponent, Oleksandr Usyk.
For that, Joshua is in for some steady preparations, and even on new year’s eve, he isn’t taking an off. Not just that, but Eubank Jr. too displayed the same mindset, and the duo ended up meeting each other at a training session.
Sharing a picture with ‘AJ’, Eubank Jr. grabbed every hardcore boxing lover’s attention. He wrote, “Even over the holidays we still stay hustlin’. Boxing isn’t a job… it’s a lifestyle.”

Eubank Jr. had his third fight aligned for 2021 against Liam Williams. However, Williams injured himself, because of which, this fight got pushed for January 29, 2022.
Furthermore, Joshua, these days, is engrossed in his rigorous workouts sessions to prepare for the Usyk rematch. The Brit is also looking to develop some strategies in order to beat ‘The Cat’, by showing up with his polished version.
It is safe to say, Joshua is in an unusual spot in his career right now, because a win will pin him on the top. With that, he also will have a chance to go for the undisputed fight. However, if he loses, he might be out of the race to be the top heavyweight.
