“Claressa Couldn’t Last Two Minutes, Never Mind Two Rounds” – Savannah Marshall Claps Back at Claressa Shields

WBO middleweight champ Savannah Marshall recently put on an incredible performance against Lolita Muzeya. With this, she defended her title for the second time in a row and cemented her spot at the top. Now that she has a couple of title defenses to her name, fans want to see the Brit lock horns with the most renowned female fighter on the planet, Claressa Shields.

Shields holds all the belts at the middleweight frame, except for the WBO title. And since Marshall holds the WBO title, there’s every possibility in the world that the duo might square off for an undisputed title fight.

More than anyone, Shields and Marshall are excited to lock horns with each other. Recently, ‘T-Rex-‘ opened up on Marshall’s recent win and called her out. Shields said, “See you next year girlie, we’ll show you what a real champion fights like.”

‘Silent Assassin’ couldn’t stop herself from taking a dig at Shields, and she did the same in her post-fight interviews with Sky Sports.

Marshall is one of the few elite knockout artists present in the female boxing roster. In her latest fight, she entered Muzeya’s defense in the first round itself and began landing her thunderous right hands.

As a result, Marshall attained an undeniable win in just the second round of the fight. This has truly set her up for a mammoth clash with her rival, Claressa Shields.

That said, Marshall’s power can crack anyone, and Shields will definitely face problems with the same. However, if the unified champ can withstand the Brit’s power, she definitely stands a chance to claim a classic win.
