Floyd Mayweather recently faced off against John Gotti III, the grandson of infamous organized crime icon John Gotti. The fight, which was initially a mismatch with the former champion dominating, ended in chaos as both fighters refused to stop trash-talking each other. Referee Kenny Bayless had to step in and call off the fight in the sixth round. However, the real action unfolded in the aftermath, as Gotti aggressively attacked Mayweather, sparking brawls both inside and outside the ring.

The two fighters exchanged punches before their respective teams jumped into the ring, resulting in multiple brawls breaking out. The Florida Athletic Commission subsequently suspended Gotti for six months. Moreover, this only added another controversial chapter to an already contentious event. Despite this, Gotti wants to run back the fight and has already issued a challenge to ‘Money’ for a rematch.

In an unexpected turn, Gotti publicly called for a rematch with Mayweather. Undeterred by his suspension, Gotti vowed to bring “heavy hitters” to the table, suggesting a more aggressive approach in a potential rematch. He expressed frustration over the decision to end the fight prematurely, asserting that Mayweather had exhausted himself while Gotti had started to gain momentum.

The majority spoke you f—— pineapple,” Gotti said. “Let’s do it again, this time your whole team getting left in the street. Me and this girl Floyd Mayweather run it back in New York. Who’s in? This time I’m bringing heavy hitters. Next time I fight him like a dog.” he stated.
