Undisputed female middleweight champion Claressa Shields is simultaneously exploring two sports and is gaining momentum in both places. Following her impeccable success in boxing, ‘GWOAT’ has also seen some legitimate success inside the MMA cage.

‘T-Rex’ could look to stay active in both disciplines and has already hinted at her plans for the future. She posted a tweet on social media and addressed the names she would want to fight in the boxing ring.

Turning to Twitter, Claressa Shields wrote, “My Boxing Bucket List   1. Ema Kozin 2. Savannah Marshall 3. Keith Thurman 4. Katie Taylor 5. Jake Paul.”

While Savannah Marshall, Katie Taylor, and Ema Kozin make sense for her, Thurman and Paul are nowhere near her current title race. Former welterweight champion Keith Thurman will end an almost three-year hiatus and return to action in February 2022. Meanwhile, Jake Paul is on a different path, trying to make a space for himself in the top-tier boxing world. However, he hasn’t faced a pro-boxer till now.

Paul also dropped his Boxing Bucket list and named several A-listers like Floyd Mayweather and Tyson Fury. Hence, Claressa Shields may have responded to that and may not be serious about taking on ‘The Problem Child’.

It’s bizarre to picture Claressa Shields facing Thurman or Paul. However, a scrap between her and Savannah Marshall or Katie Taylor will be huge for women’s boxing. Shields, a relevant name, is one of the finest female fighters of all time. Following her recent loss in the PFL, we can expect ‘T-Rex’ to remain active in the boxing ride.
