Claressa Shields pays respect to Luke Campbell

The ‘GWOAT’ made sure she gave respect to Garcia’s opponent, Luke Campbell too. She wrote, “And I’ll just say @luke11campbell was no slouch! Definitely came with a Game plan! Just that body shot was unexpected!”

Given that no one had ever dropped Garcia in his career, it showed just how well Campbell did.

Shields, who will fight in the PFL this year, is clearly ecstatic for the young fighter. Not only did he prove his mettle, but he also has opened up a world of opportunities for himself in the lightweight division. Despite being mandatory for Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia could face any of the other champions too.

Therefore, his victory over Luke Campbell was of utmost significance. Campbell has faced Vasyl Lomachenko and even he did not knock him out. This is a testament to the power of Ryan Garcia. How well do you think ‘KingRy’ will do in the lightweight division after a performance like that?
