Gervonta Davis will step in the ring again for one of the most anticipated lightweight bouts of the year. But it seems like he couldn’t wait for April to fight. The Baltimore boxer shared an online beef with a fellow athlete in the sport. Gervonta Davis is not a big fan of Jake Paul and does not shy away from showing his dislike toward him and people supporting him. Recently, Tommy Fury gave Jake Paul the first-ever loss of his boxing career.

Meanwhile, 13-time world champion, Claressa Shields, had a Twitter exchange with ‘Tank’ Davis after the latter commented on Shields showing support for the YouTuber turned boxer. After a little back and forth, the war of words ended. But Shields knew exactly how to make Davis shut his mouth hilariously.

Claressa Shields knows how to show her support when someone’s down. The ‘GWOAT’ tried to motivate Paul after his loss to Tommy Fury, but Davis did not appreciate the praise.

Following Sheilds’ supportive message to Paul, Gervonta Davis tweeted, “It’s crazy to see how this boxing shit works y’all cheer for a clown after a loss but actual boxers, you all shit on em if they lose. Sport filled with D*ck riders.” This was the beginning of a series of tweets that followed. Shields came at Davis with a response. She said, yes, she is “supposed” to clown a YouTuber.

She further stated, “He [Paul] ain’t a real fighter” and remembered when Paul called her a “loser” for losing an MMA fight when she was new to the sport. But her gesture of support for Paul, even though he didn’t reciprocate the same when he had the chance, shows true sportsmanship and her outstanding character.

Shields further tweeted and took some more jabs at Davis. She claimed she is all about the fight in the ring and would never criticize a fighter for losing a fight. Last year, Claressa joined Davis and Oscar De La Hoya in reacting to Garcia’s KO body shot.

Claressa claimed to know secrets about Davis and threatened to expose him to the world. But the ones who know Davis know he won’t back down easily. So he replied, “Lol say it.” Which was enough to bring an end to their online beef. In reply to Davis’s open challenge to broadcast his secrets to the world, Shields said, Lil ni$$a you woke up today & chose violence  but don’t play with me, I love yo lil ass, let’s keep it the way.
