The lightweight division of boxing is cluttered with some of the best boxers in the world. Two such names are Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia. Both of them are in the prime of their careers and haven’t lost a fight till now. The latter just extended his undefeated streak by defeating Javier Fortuna. Now he is aiming to fight Davis next.
Even before his fight with Javier Fortuna, Ryan Garcia was eager and confident of a potential bout with Gervonta Davis next. He has been talking about fighting ‘Tank’ in various interviews. Recently, Garcia took to Instagram and posted a story where he is calling out Tank.

He wrote, “@gervontaa what’s the word, you got anything to say??”
Okay now Cmon Gervonta come get this ass whooping real quick… It will only hurt a little, you won’t see it and we can hit the club after. Just accept the fight and your fate. https://t.co/p3bDXmsNgj

He even posted a Tweet where he called out the Baltimore prodigy, “Okay now Cmon Gervonta, come get this as* whooping real quick… It will only hurt a little, you won’t see it and we can hit the club after. Just accept the fight and your fate.”
Apparently, KingRy has no plans to fight any other boxer before Davis. He even wrote in the same Instagram story, “Most likely won’t”. And he further added, “But if he does, I’ll let you know what he responds”. Only time will tell if the bout happens or not.
Gervonta Davis replies to Ryan Garcia
Davis defeated Rolando Romero in his last fight. He hasn’t talked about his next opponent. Although watching him fight with Garcia will be a treat for the fans, there have been no reports about it yet. However, Tank’s recent Tweet might speak a bit on the subject.

Garcia has been continuously calling out Davis at every opportunity he gets. The 27-year-old took to Twitter and wrote, “See y’all the end of the year..#TheONE”.
