Welterweight contender Conor Benn was the center of attention back in 2022 after he failed a VADA doping test ahead of his fight against Chris Eubank Jr. The British boxer tested positive for the banned substance Clomiphene and was handed a suspension following this test. Moreover, he has not fought in a match since then and has backed himself by vowing to clear himself of any wrongdoing.

He was also reinstated into the WBC world ranking after his explanation for the positive test was accepted by the council. Now, Benn looks to come into boxing with a bang after dropping a hint about facing, former eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao.

The British boxer posted a photo of him tagging Pacquiao on his Instagram story and egging him to sign the contract for the bout. Pacquiao is currently 44 years old and lost his last fight to Yordenis Ugas back in 2o21. Despite this, he is still one of the biggest names in boxing and could prove to be a big-money fight for Benn.

Could of taken a 6 month ban and been over with it, instead 6 months later he’ll earn 8 figures. Excellent bit of bwizness” he wrote.

Benn has been under heavy fire since testing positive and has had to face some consequences. However, he is still claiming that he did not break the rules. Despite this, he is currently under investigation by the UKAD and cannot fight inside the UK. This might not affect him too much as he could face Pac-Man in another country if the bout is finalized.
