One thing that we all know is that Anthony Joshua is a massive box-office star. However, this card hasn’t been as hyped up as most AJ cards are. While this isn’t a super fight against Tyson Fury, Pulev is a very legitimate challenger who could upset Joshua. It isn’t like we haven’t seen Joshua upset by an inferior opponent before.
Modern boxing has a very large casual fanbase that only tunes in for the main event anyway, so they won’t be disappointed. However, for the purists, this card may be looking a lot emptier. Hopefully, Okolie gets a great opponent which will give this card an extra push. Either way, people will tune in when Joshua is fighting.
