Deontay Wilder’s recent claims about Tyson Fury has not gone well with the former interim WBC champion, Dillian Whyte.

Deontay Wilder had remained relatively silent ever since his stoppage loss to Tyson Fury back in February of this year. The ‘Bronze Bomber’ suffered the first loss of his professional boxing career after Wilder’s trainer Mark Breland threw the towel in the closing moments of the seventh round. Meanwhile, taking a dig at Wilder, Whyte shared his thoughts on what lies ahead for the Bronze Bomber.

“Probably descent into the dark. Descent in the c***k, coc***e, he***n, and just come back in a few years when he is broke. Try and have a couple of fights maybe, you know, see what happens,” Whyte said.

Wilder has not competed inside the ring since then. On the other side, Tyson Fury has expressed his interest in fighting Agit Kabayel later this year on December 5 inside Royal Albert Hall in London. However, nothing has been made official so far with Fury’s team waiting to hear from the undefeated German boxer.

Whyte claimed that Wilder’s decision to accept the rematch against Tyson Fury had a lot to do with the ‘Gypsy King’s’ absence from the ring. Tyson Fury returned almost three years after his win over Wladimir Klitschko.

When both the boxers shared the ring for the first time around, it ended in a controversial draw. Fury dominated Wilder for the better part of the entire bout. However, two knockdowns from the ‘Bronze Bomber’ made it a competitive bout.

Be that as it may, Fury sent a powerful message in the rematch, picking up an impressive seventh-round stoppage win over the boxing heavyweight.

Meanwhile, Dillian Whyte will take on Alexander Povetkin in a rematch for the interim WBC strap on Nov. 21 in England.
