YouTube influencer and crypto investor Iman Gadzhi has taken over as one of the most popular crypto investors in the market. The entrepreneur from Dubai was one of the first to hop on the financial boom in cryptocurrency, investing the money he earned from working in advertising. He made massive profits from the crypto space, making him a multi-millionaire.

However, the crypto whale was glad that he didn’t invest in Logan Paul’s NFT project, 99 Originals. In his podcast, Gadzhi revealed that he once had the chance to purchase one of Paul’s sought-after NFTs for $300,000. Moreover, he was even ready to buy it for $30,000 more than the asking price but could not because of a transaction failure.

Do you know the guy they (Paul) were talking about? That was me. , you can check my ether scan. You know when they were like oh yeah we’re bidding against a crypto whale gazillionaire, that was me. It was like 2 am in Dubai and I told everyone like my Budget is 300,000 I can’t let myself go above but then it got above, but I’m very competitive as well so then I transfer over and the transfer basically ended up taking too long.” said Gadzhi.

Following this, he added that he was glad he didn’t purchase it as it was over his budget. “I’m actually happy I didn’t do it. I set my budget at 300,000 and it went over 300,000.” he added.

Despite his best efforts to purchase one of Paul’s 99 Originals, Gadzhi could not succeed. However, it might have been a good decision in hindsight considering the recent decline of NFTs.

The Maverick’s other NFT investments are also dipping in value. It was reported that he bought the Azuki ‘Bumblebee’ back in 2021 for $623,000. However, it has tremendously dipped in value after Silver and gold market commentator WallStreetSilv revealed that the NFT’s price had since dropped to $10.

The collection includes 10,000 hand-drawn profile picture avatars also giving the buyer entry into an exclusive Web3 community, airdrops, and a Discord community. Since then, Paul has also confirmed that the NFT is now worth “essentially nothing”, even offering a replica of the NFT in his 99 Originals.
