Last weekend, Daniel Dubois put on a thrilling performance against Bogdan Dinu to get back to winning ways. This fight was extremely vital for Dubois to mold his boxing career, which at one point seemed to be in jeopardy after a loss to Joe Joyce. However, Dubois is now hungry to rematch his fellow compatriot and also fight for the heavyweight gold subsequently.

By securing a win in his last fight, the Brit claimed the WBA interim heavyweight title. And with that, he is now on top of the contention for a title shot. The title shot is definitely on top of the priority list for Dubois. But simultaneously, ‘Dynamite’ is eyeing a rematch with his foe.

“Not too many hints, but I know I could definitely beat him [Joyce] with some different changes and doing things a little bit differently.

“I definitely want to get revenge and that’s part of the comeback. I’ve got to right the wrongs and just get rid of my errors and my mistakes and hopefully clear it up again with Joe.”

The tussle between Dubois and Joyce was one of the greatest collisions of 2020. Both the British warriors came into this fight with a clean record. However, it was ‘Juggernaut’ who battered the young Dubois and gave him a beating of his life.

It was Dubois’ first career loss and with that, he even suffered some serious eye injuries. But, ‘Dynamite’ recovered well and quick to revive his boxing career.
