There are countless prodigies in the boxing vertical who have stirred the sport with their slick prowess. But none of those can match the aura Jake Paul possesses. Over the past 11 months, the YouTuber turned boxer has only grown from strength to strength.

He’s been in the news for his boxing stint, as well as his antics in and outside the sport.
Many boxing purists and fans discarded Jake Paul for whatever he has done in the sport. But on the other side, there are many more boxing stars who have remained assertive about their support to ‘The Problem Child’.

Former two-time WBC super-middleweight champion David Benavidez was one of them. ‘El Bandera Roja’ had some words of encouragement for Paul.

Speaking to Brian Custer, he said, “Yeah, I feel like the reason he’s making millions is because his fan base. You got to respect somebody too that puts in the time and work in the training camp. A lot of people when they have money like this, a lot of them just party, and drink, and go to the club and he’s actually trying to make a name for himself.”

“I feel like if you could sell 1.2 million in PPV, then you know things should be taken away from you. That’s not easy,” he added.
Jake Paul, prior to coming into the boxing space, had a stellar YouTube career. He still runs his channel, which has 20.4 million subscribers. That said, ‘The Problem Child’, who already had an exuberant fan base, just turned all of his fans into casual boxing lovers and earned more fans in his new vertical.

When and where is Jake Paul fighting next?
Jake Paul will storm into the boxing ring on December 18 for the third time in 2021. He will lock horns with Tommy Fury at the Amalie Arena in Tampa.

This will be the first time Paul will face someone from the pro-boxing vertical. Hence, it can be seen as a sign of him responding to his haters, who dismissed his wins against MMA fighters.
