Wilder fell prey to an injury earlier in the year. However, Fury extended the contract till December in light of the global pandemic. Even that didn’t help the case as the duo failed to capitalize despite back and forth from promoters and managers.

Tyson Fury vows to never fight Deontay Wilder
Earlier, the former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder took to Twitter to express what he believes were the reasons for his loss against the Gypsy King early this year.
The Bronze Bomber made multiple accusations. He claimed the Gypsy King cheated in both the bouts and called him a “thief.” Additionally, he claimed that Fury added egg weights to his gloves that eventually left a dent in his skull.

‘The Gypsy King’ also added that if he was anything like the “rest of the world,” he would have sued Wilder for a $100 million defamation lawsuit. However, if Wilder becomes a mandatory title contender with a win in his next bout, Fury might even have to vacate the title belt to stay true to his words.
