In a chat with Sky Sports, Hearn said, “It would probably be a two-fight deal. Any deal between Fury and AJ, you run it twice. It is not a condition of the deal but it was in their deal with Deontay Wilder, and it is the biggest fight in boxing, so it is likely you will see that twice.”

“Wilder is not going to be stepping aside so Pulev is the fight for us. I had a conversation saying: ‘Wilder is not stepping aside, we will take care of that fight, you take care of the Pulev fight, but let’s get a deal done for 2021’.”

“We have no problem signing now to fight Fury in 2021. It will work out better for both of them to box off those fights then have a clear route, subject to Dillian Whyte being mandatory to Fury, to get [the undisputed title fight] done.”

The 2021 date is due to both boxers having mandatory title defenses. Tyson Fury will face Deontay Wilder after the latter bizarrely opted to invoke his contractual rematch despite being decimated throughout. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has claimed that he wasn’t at his best. He blamed his entrance attire and even refused to recognize ‘The Gypsy King’ as Champion.

Meanwhile, ‘AJ’ will defend his titles against Ukrainian Kubrat Pulev. ‘Kobrata’ earned a shot at the belts by beating Hughie Fry. The duo was set to box before a massive audience at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on June 20.

Fans hope both bouts take place in the fall. They will keep their fingers crossed that the duo defends the titles leaving no more hurdles for a mouth-watering all-British heavyweight clash.

Who do you see triumphing if this mega clash comes to fruition?
