Rumors of a potential all-Brit unification bout between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua haven’t died down just yet. However, in order for the bout to take place, Deontay Wilder and Kubrat Pulev will need to step aside. The excellent news is, Wilder has agreed to step aside, under some conditions.

Wilder had a clause in his contact, to have a trilogy fight with Fury had he lost. After his loss, Wilder enacted the clause immediately, much to the disappointment of fight fans. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ got ‘bombed’ with shots and  needed a towel to save him against Tyson Fury.

Also, fight fans weren’t too happy with the clause, given the interest for an all-Brit unification bout between Fury and Joshua.

According to reports, Wilder will step aside if he’s offered $10 million. The other condition is that he gets to face the winner of Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury. This has been met with backlash, given the one-sided nature of his fight with Fury.

Another roadblock is that Kubrat Pulev who is Joshua’s mandatory challenger might have similar demands. Pulev stepped aside for Joshua, so that his rematch against Andy Ruiz could take place. It’s unlikely that Pulev will do so as he has stepped aside in the past and is keen for a title shot.
