Fleetwood Mac fans were recently left shattered as news spread of the demise of the band’s singer and keyboardist, Christine McVie. This news also shocked many notable names in music. Meanwhile, Deontay Wilder’s former promoter, Lou DiBella, also joined the music fraternity in offering condolences on McVie’s demise.

Fleetwood Mac is a British-American rock band that started in London in 1967. McVie, who was born Christine Perfect, joined the band in the year 1970. Moreover, she was also formerly married to the band’s bass guitarist, John McVie.

Her family recently released a statement informing fans of her death. They said, “On behalf of Christine McVie’s family, it is with a heavy heart we are informing you of Christine’s death. She passed away peacefully at hospital this morning, Wednesday, November 30th 2022, following a short illness. She was in the company of her family.”

McVie was 79 at the time of her death.

Her bandmate and best friend, Stevie Nicks, took to Twitter to share a heartfelt letter to McVie. She called McVie her ‘whole world since the first day of 1975′. Nicks mentioned that she was gutted by McVie’s demise. Additionally, she mentioned that she wished to be in London at the time of McVie’s death. And also stated that she wished to sing to her.

DiBella, on the other hand, retweeted Nicks’ letter, while also offering his condolences.

It is worth mentioning that DiBella promotes many notable boxers like George Kambosos Jr, Sergiy Derevyanchenko, Regis Prograis, etc. He formerly also promoted heavyweight phenomenon, Wilder.

Lou DiBella was not the only notable name who was deeply affected by the death of Christine McVie. And a lot of fans took to social media to also offer commiseration for her demise.

Former US president, Bill Clinton, stated that he was saddened by her demise. Moreover, he mentioned that her song, ‘Don’t Stop’ was a part of his campaign in 1992.

Singer Sheryl Crow mentioned that McVie was an icon and a legend. And that the world feels weird without McVie in it.
