Deontay Wilder is one of the most feared heavyweight boxers of this generation. Despite having a stellar record, Tyson Fury is the only opponent he has ever fallen to. The two have faced off in the ring against one another thrice, with Fury winning twice with one bout ending in a draw. Since his defeat against Fury, Wilder has not engaged in combat.

While talking to ‘SecondsOut’, Matchroom Boxing boss Eddie Hearn revealed, “I mean certainly Deontay Wilder. I mean, I actually reached out to Shelly Finkel the other day. Because I’ve got so much money for Deontay Wilder in an offer, but they never come back to me. I don’t know whether Deontay Wilder doesn’t wanna hear about that offer or whatever.”

Apparently, Hearn said he has a sizeable amount of money for Deontay Wilder if he fights Joshua. However, there has been no response from him, and Hearn said he is currently just focused on the August 20th fight. 

Moreover, even Wilder has not fought any boxer since his last fight with Tyson Fury. Well, only time will tell if we get to see a Joshua vs. Wilder fight in the near future.

Tyson Fury and Joshua have been at crossroads back in the day. Some time back, The Gypsy King revealed he would come back to AJ, but on the condition that the fight should happen in England, and would be free for its citizens. The two were put in opposition on several other occasions, but it never transpired. However, now Fury has advice for his bitter foe that could help him outclass the Ukrainian boxer.

Fury stated, “This is how Anthony Joshua needs to attack Oleksandr Usyk’s body. I know the blown-up middleweight can’t take body shots.”

Well, August 20th is just a few days away, and the anticipation for the biggest fight of the year is sensational. The two giants first met inside the ring last year, and AJ lost to Usyk. It made it certain that there needs to be a rematch.
