Dereck Chisora has displayed his heavyweight prowess and impeccable violence inside the boxing ring for several years. Boasting 23 KOs in 32 professional wins, the 6’ tall orthodox is one of the most reputed boxers in the division.
That said, Chisora gave fans a taste of his power in a sparring session, where he traded shots with his fellow heavyweight pugilist, Bryant Jennings. Although sparring comes nowhere close to an in-ring clash in terms of violence, Chisora still displayed his best game and dragged his adversary to the corner.
This recent sparring with Jennings showcased the sheer intensity between both the boxers. They didn’t hold back while pulling off their major shots. Thankfully, both the men had headgear on, or else it would clearly have been a knockout from either side.

Chisora landed some brutal uppercuts and in response, Jennings closed the gap to land heavy shots to the head. Both the boxers had immense power packed in their fists and they didn’t hesitate whilst swinging. The sparring session seemed nothing less than a heavyweight fight.
While the 37-year-old is still active in the looming heavyweight division, Jennings has already called it a day. His last fight was against Joe Joyce in 2019, and he retired after losing the bout via decision. However, he continues to spar with other pugilists and is still in shape. On the other end, ‘War’ is relevant in the heavyweight division and a couple of more wins can land see him advance in the title picture.

Following a loss against Oleksandr Usyk, Chisora will return to action against Joseph Parker in the coming days. Although he is not top-notch in the current title picture, Chisora can still create problems for a lot of other boxers.
He is one of the scariest heavyweights in the world and can influence the ongoing scenarios. While he is just a few wins away from resurrecting his championship right, we can expect the ‘War’ to re-appear in his best form. His sparring form was a sign that he is hungry and raring to go.
