The renowned British heavyweight, Dereck Chisora, has expressed his curiosity to come back inside the boxing ring again. After succumbing to a unanimous decision loss to Oleksandr Usyk last year, many expected him to hang his gloves from the sport. However, the veteran wants to defy expectations and resume his career. In fact, he also has an opponent in mind for his return fight.

Recently, Chisora took to his official social handle, wherein he rolled out a virtual call video with Joe Parker. The duo agreed to fight each other and gave a coherent message to their fans.

“Guess who’s calling. Hey, boy! I’m tryna get hold of you, son. I’m ready to go man how are you?

“Everybody, it’s Joe right there, face timing me. He answered the phone at the end, and he’s definitely confirming the fight happening. Let’s make it happen.” he said.

The duo shared a healthy banter with each other, yet asserted on a sure shot fight. Both of them are among the most sturdy heavyweight prospects, looking to bag a title shot soon.

The ‘War’ won the WBO inter-continental heavyweight title in 2019, but couldn’t sustain it in the long run. On the flip side, Joseph Parker has solidified his resume with constant wins over the past few years, but those wins have arrived over lesser-known opponents.

In order to make their way to the top, the duo will have to fight some bigwigs of the most dynamic division. And consequently, they came out with a solution to fight each other.

Dereck Chisora vs Joseph Parker – will this fight really happen?

Though Chisora hasn’t fought after his last loss, Parker, on the other hand, has already fought once this year. He confronted Junior Fa on February 27 and won the fight by a unanimous decision.

Ever since then, he’s received constant call-outs from the Brit, asking him to step inside the ring for a 12-round war. Now, it seems the pair is on the same page and wants to fight each other. With such exuberant interest from both corners, this fight seems undeniable.

Moreover, keeping the fun side apart, this fight definitely looks like an absolute entertainer. Both of them will be keen on adding a ‘W’ to their resume and marching on to the peak again.
