A prominent American promoter recently revealed his thoughts on Ryder’s bout against the ‘Cinnamon.’ Even though the Brit has the promoter’s respect, he has failed to inculcate confidence in winning against the world’s current undisputed super-middleweight champion.

American Promoter’s thoughts on John Ryder

American promoter Lou DiBella took to Twitter to respond to a former professional boxer’s take on John Ryder’s upcoming fight against Alvarez. Barry McGuigan, an Irish promoter, replied to a fan who claimed that Ryder is a good fighter but winning against ‘Saul’ is out of the question for him.

DiBella weighed in on this Twitter conversation and shared his opinion on the British fighter. The 62-year-old wrote, “He beat Callum. He lost to Rocky Fielding. He’s worthy of respect. He has no chance, though.” Ryder has DiBella’s respect. Even though the result of the fight doesn’t say it, Ryder is the real winner in the eyes of DiBella in his fight against Callum Smith.

It seems like Alvarez is the favorite in this fight. But Ryder cannot be undermined. He is training hard for the fight and is worthy of respect for his hard work and dedication. DiBella also recently discussed a controversy involving a former British football player.
