Come 14th of August one of the most anticipated fights of this year will take its course at the AO Arena in Manchester. As a co-event to the KSI vs. Tommy Fury fight, former MMA fighter, Dillon Danis will take his fight against his long-time rival, Logan Paul.

Ahead of the fight, the fighters have left no opportunity to suppress the other through their verbal jabs. His attacks have not been limited just to Paul, but collateral in this war of words is Paul’s fiancé, Nina Agdal. As she suffered immense damage to her reputation at the hands of Danis, she tried avenging it all by filing a restraining order against him. Against the backdrop of this lawsuit, what does Fight Night look like now? Will Agdal be ringside supporting her fiancée, or will the lawsuit hinder her from doing so?

Nina Agdal’s Lawsuit to have no impact on the fight

With mere days left before the fight, there remains a question about how Nina Agdal’s lawsuit pans out with respect to the bout. One thing for certain is that the lawsuit will not impact the presence of ‘El Jefe’ in the ring. For it is a civil suit and has no mention of jail time in it. However, at its core, it is a suit seeking restraining orders against Danis.

Earlier, a New Jersey court had granted Nina Agdal temporary restraining orders against Danis. ‘Maverick’ Paul has confirmed that his fiancé will indeed be by his side on the 14th of October. Further, the restraining order won’t stop from her doing so. Since the lawsuit continues to take its course in the US, and the fight is scheduled to place in the UK, the proceedings of the lawsuit will not apply to the jurisdictions of the UK.

Furthermore, the order specifically restricts Danis from posting content related to Agdal without her consent on social media. Because that is where he’s led his fight against her.

What is the Lawsuit all about?

From drawing up publicly, a list of men Agdal has supposedly been with to even calling her a transgender person, Danis left no area untouched in damaging Agdal’s image. She has maintained a poised silence at the behemoth of slander coming her way for a while. But lines were crossed when Danis uploaded naked videos of her on social media. In response, Agdal filed a restraining order and a lawsuit seeking $150,000 in damages.

Danis “has posted ‘despicable’ things about her more than 250 times since his fight with Paul was announced,” claimed the lawsuit. As per TMZ, the suit also mentions that she has “suffered humiliation, emotional distress, and reputational harm.” However, the one allegation against Danis that was instrumental in this suit is of breaking a state and federal law.

Nina Adgal’s lawsuit stated that a post by Danis on August 10 included “a sexually explicit image of her that was taken from ‘a romantic encounter’ she had” with someone over 10 years ago. Later that day, he reposted the same to garner more views. However, such was repeated again when he posted a video that was stored deep in her Snapchat. This raised concerns about him hacking into Agdal’s phone. So as a final resort in order to safeguard her privacy, was a lawsuit.

When the fight night finally dawns, the spotlights will not just glare on the two fighters. Nina Agdal too will be in the eye of the storm. Her fiancée enters the ring to not just win the fight. But also to avenge the damages she’s suffered to her reputation.
