Fans recently made their pick between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr as the “GOAT” of boxing. Moreover, the two were not the only ones in the supposed running of the position of the ‘GOAT.’

A poll was posted on Facebook by Isportzonetv asking the fans who, according to them, is the greatest of all time in boxing. The post had five fighters in the running based on the number of different weight-division championships they had won throughout their professional careers. Not that long ago, Pacquiao’s past achievement resurfaced on the internet.

When it comes to the five-division champions, the list narrows down to Sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. The sport has only seen one six-division world champion, Oscar De La Hoya. And the ‘Pac-man’ holds the most weight-division world championships standing at a total number of eight. However, the sport asked the fans to choose between Mayweather Jr and Pacquiao.

Despite Floyd’s glamorous win over Pacquiao in their clash in 2015, it seems the fans still hold Pacquiao as the greater between the two. Talking about the fluidity of Pacquiao’s weight throughout his career, Lliam Nelson wrote, “It’s not because I’m a Filipino but Manny Pakyaw is the GOAT in boxing😊because from flyweight division he reached junior middle weight.”

Kick Revilla was adamant about his GOAT verdict. He wrote, “No one but 8th division is the GOAT of all.”

Edward de Leon commented, “Losing is part of the game; it’s just a question of how the goat fought his big battles?”
