The WBC lightweight champion, Devin Haney, shares an extensive relationship with boxing’s greatest of all time, Floyd Mayweather. The duo came in touch during a training session and they have only grown closer ever since.

Before even beginning his pro-boxing career, Haney idolized Floyd Mayweather. In fact, he’s often talked extremely highly of ‘Pretty Boy’.

Haney first met Floyd Mayweather in 2020 during a virtual training session. Haney was always a fan of Mayweather and it was his long-time dream to be trained by ‘TBE’.

That said, their virtual training sessions went on for a while, but two met in person for elevating their training sessions to another level.

Right after their first in-person workout session, the pair spent considerable time with each other, with Haney taking note of Mayweather’s teachings and suggestions.

With the kind of career that ‘TBE’ enjoyed in boxing, he was bound to get surrounded by so much love and attention from fellow pugilists.

His exemplary boxing skills made him a fan favorite in no time. And with that, ‘Pretty Boy’ inspired a generation of fighters. And one such fighter on that list was Devin Haney.
