However, the aftermath of the fight was anything but serene. The unanimous decision seemed to not have settled well with fans. Furthermore, famous Boxing reporter Elie Seckback gave his controversial opinion that Lomachenkov should have won. However, the dye has been cast and there is no going back on the unanimous decision win.

Particularly singling out Seckback, dismissing their negativity as baseless.“Elie can’t stop this sh*t… hating a*s b***h,” wrote Haney as his words resonated with the raw intensity of a fighter who had poured his heart and soul into the ring, refusing to let criticism dampen his spirit.

While acknowledging the closeness of the fight, the trainers unanimously agreed that Haney’s body shots played a pivotal role. One trainer emphasized, “It was a close fight, it was close. But Haney was hitting him with that body shot all night.” 

 

While the controversy surrounding the decision persists, Haney’s victory serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of boxing, where every punch and every move can tip the scales in favor of one fighter.

Haney’s ongoing feud
