Ortiz Jr.’s response was candid and unfiltered: It doesn’t look good. There’s just nothing. Everything about it is bad. I mean, like, it’s picking on someone who’s known him for a long time. I mean, it’s just not a good look. Everything he’s saying, I don’t know if it’s true or not. There’s really nothing I can say good about it. You know, it’s just a bad look. And I don’t know. I honestly don’t think the fight happens. I don’t think the fight happens.

Furthermore, boxing legend Duke McKenzie has also voiced his concerns, strongly urging Garcia to reconsider his April 20th fight against Devin Haney. McKenzie’s apprehension stems from a series of unsettling behaviors exhibited by Garcia, highlighting a consensus of worry within the boxing community. He emphasized the necessity for Garcia to seek equilibrium and peace within himself amidst the pre-fight chaos. “Of course nobody wants him to pull out of the fight, but I would have to say that um if right now it’s not the time,” he stated.
