Did Devin Haney lose to Ryan Garcia?

In his second amateur bout, Haney locked horns with his current rival, Ryan Garcia. ‘King Ry’ ended up scoring a win over Haney in this fight. However, this didn’t leave ‘The Dream’ in jeopardy. Instead, he improved and went ahead to win some notable bouts, to eventually meet Garcia in the ring again in 2014.

This time, the duo collided for the USA Junior National Championships Final, where Haney turned the tables and won via a UD. But, in the same year, he again faced Garcia and lost the bout. A year later, the duo met again for one final time. In this tussle, ‘The Dream’ claimed the victory.

However, Haney had his purpose set, and he only got better with every fight. As of now, he has a 26-0 record, with 15 T/KO wins.

As ‘The Dream’ is just 23, he has a lot of time to improve and achieve even more accolades. Do you envision Haney going down as the best lightweight?
