Matchroom CEO Eddie Hearn might have some boxing skills of his own as he broke a record on Matchroom Boxing’s punch machine. The British promoter tried to break the previous record of the machine and also showcase his power.

Hearn beat the machine’s previous record of 810 with a huge right hook that scored him an impressive 924. Moreover, this seemed notable, as Hearn is just a promoter and not a professional boxer. It’s even more impressive considering Anthony Joshua recently scored just 41 points higher on DAZN’s punch machine. However, in an appearance on the Graham Norton Show, he scored an 847, which is very less than Hearn’s 924.

Although it was worth noting that all the machines have different setups, Hearn’s show of power was no joke. Moreover, the fans were also quick to jump on this and react to Hearn’s mind-blowing feat.

Moreover, one fan took shots at the upcoming fight between Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora. He stated that Hearn would be a better opponent for The Gypsy King than Del Boy.

However, one fan claimed that the machine was rigged as Hearn’s promotion, Matchroom, provided it.

Another fan urged the British promoter to take on YouTube sensation Jake Paul next, following his victory over Anderson Silva.

Lastly, one fan urged him to book fights that people wanted to see rather than move away from them.

Hearn certainly made some waves with his impressive display of power. Some fans appreciated it, while others seemed a little skeptical as the machine was of his own promotion and questioned its legitimacy.

However, Hearn does have some boxing experience under his belt competing in a couple of amateur fights in his youth, but turned to the promotion side of boxing. The British promoter is currently in Dubai for this Saturday’s light heavyweight title fight between WBA champion Dmitry Bivol and Gilberto Ramirez.
