Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall’s main event ended up garnering some strong reactions from fans. In this 12-round war, the undisputed champ ended up winning the fight via a split decision. Taylor was even knocked down in the fight and Catterall proved to be a super-tough opponent. Yet, Taylor was a man of the night, as he remained victorious.

While The SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow celebrated Taylor’s win, fans on Twitter shared a different notion altogether.

“I believe Taylor lost that fight. Catterall landed the cleaner, more effective punches, and scored a knockdown. I noticed Taylor had a significant height advantage, but didn’t fight tall.” added Jose Ortega.

A Twitter user mentioned, “I think Catterall did enough to win, he won the firsts rounds and score a KD! The lasts rounds Taylor came back but do not deserve the win! 113-112 Catterall”
